The lovely Harry has been busy helping to promote our British rare breeds of sheep – very proudly wearing his pure Shetland hand dyed wool waistcoat. He has taken a real interest and made some firm friends with the knitted bears since he arrived here with us. Needless to say, Harry would love a new home in the country!
Harry dates to the 1950s and is a wonderful, huggable 15 inches in height. He has the most inquisitive expression and is a really lovely bear.
He is a four way jointed bear, his head is not jointed, and all of his joints move well with no signs of old bear rheumatics!
Harry has a light covering of golden mohair with just light thinning in patches over his body but is in very good strong condition, with just a worn area on his nose. He has perfect eyesight as he has retained his original amber eyes.
His black stitched nose is original to him along with his mouth stitching and his original paw pads have all been carefully re-covered in wool felt.
Harry is filled with a mix of wood wool and soft Kapok filling to his body and limbs, with wood wool to his head.
Adorable Harry comes to you wearing his very special new waistcoat.
