Albert, A Lovely Old Character Worn In All The Right Places!

The lovely Albert is a charming old bear with the most wonderful expression! He measures 14 inches and has a light covering of golden mohair with general thinning and bald patches adding hugely to his charm.

Dating to around 1940, Albert now being a good 78 years old, is showing a few holes to his paws, shoulders and right leg but he is not too worried about these as he is very proud to have reached a ripe old age and still be very active, with joints which all move freely.

Albert’s paw pads are all covered in their original rexine covering and show signs of age rubbing and a few holes showing his kapok filling through. He is a lovely old character worn in all the right places! He even has a name tag carefully sewn to his right ear – maybe he used to accompany his childhood friend to school and his name tag prevented him from becoming lost? A lovely history to him too.
