A real sweetie! Little Ted is made by Tara Toys, Republic of Ireland and he dates to c.1960.
He measures 11 inches in height and is a five way jointed bear with all of his joints moving well. Little Ted has a good coverage of long golden mohair and is in very good strong condition. He has excellent eye sight as he has retained his original amber glass eyes.
Little Ted’s black stitched nose and mouth stitching are typical of the adorable features of a Tarra bear. His paw pads are all covered in his original wool felt and show signs of age related surface wear. Filled with a soft Kapok filling to his body and limbs, with wood wool to his head, he retains his orignal Tarra Toys foot lable – a delightful little chap!
