Humbug (named after the stripy sweets he loves to take with him on his adventures) is made using a mixture of different naturally coloured Jacob fleece, spun all mixed up and made into a single ply yarn – making him the most stripy humbug bear!
The fleeces I use are wonderfully soft and the Jacob sheep are famous for their two-coloured coats of dark and light wool, ranging in colour from white to grey and brown to black. These can then be mixed during spinning to produce even more natural shades or a stripy yarn for a bear like Humbug!

The bears are very keen for you to know that they have glass eyes. Although very beautiful and hand made, these eyes can be dangerous for babies and small children. So Humbug is not suitable for babies or children.
