Herbie a hand knitted Jacob wool teddy bear (ooak)

Herbie is a one-of-a-kind commission little teddy bear, sorry he can not be made to order.

Little Jacob wool teddy bear Herbie, is another very keen botanist who has an interest in rare wild flowers. A meadow dotted with Spring flowers is a rare sight nowadays but these pretty flowers are an important early nectar source for bees … honey … which of course, interests bears!! Our little bear named Herbie, is hoping to change intensive agricultural practices, and the use of herbicides and pesticides, in the hope of saving these declining but vitally important insects – a tall order for a small bear!!

Hand knitted from lovely soft hand spun Jacob wool, little Herbie looks very cute wearing his jumper made from the softest alpaca with hand dyed pure silk ribbon detail (his jumper is removable). With very appealing hand made glass eyes and embroidered wool nose, this cute little teddy bear really needs some help with his conservation work!

Please note that Herbie has glass eyes so he is not suitable for babies or children.
