Little Frederick is absolutely adorable (we would love to keep him) and is a little English bear dating to around 1940 with a hint of the look of an English Farnell bear. He measures just 13 inches in height so is a little titch of a bear but with a huge personality and a very cheeky face!
Frederick is a five way jointed little bear and all his joints move well although his neck is just a little stiff with old bear rheumatics, but this doesn’t worry him at all. He has a very good coverage all over of deep golden mohair with no real signs of thinning or bald patches.
He has perfect eyesight too as he has retained his original amber and glass eyes and his little black nose and mouth stitching are original. His nose is stitched vertically and is square shaped. Little Frederick appears to have has a couple of tiny securing stitches given to his ears.
Frederick’s paw pads are all covered in their original felt covering and are in good order.
With such a cold Winter, Frederick likes to keep warm in his favourite brown jumper which he will be taking to his new home with him.
