Absolutely adorable Hector is a little Chad Valley teddy bear dating to 1940 and is in wonderful, all original, condition.
He measures 16 inches in height and is a five way jointed bear with all of his joints moving well. Hector has a good coverage of light golden mohair with a little overall thinning but is in very good strong condition. He has excellent eye sight as he has retained his original amber and black eyes (one of his eyes does have a little scratch).
Hector’s black stitched nose and mouth stitching are typical of the adorable features of a Chad Valley bear. His paw pads are all covered in their velveteen covering and show signs of age related surface wear. Hector has claw stitching and his foot pads are card lined, he does have a little hole worn in both pads which adds to his vintage charm.
Cute Hector is filled with a soft Kapok filling to his body and limbs, with wood wool to his head.
He is a wonderful, all original little Chad Valley bear.
