Timothy, a rather handsome Castlemilk Moorit teddy bear is promoting this vulnerable rare breed. He is a lovely rich golden brown colour which is, of course, the natural shade of the Castlemilk sheep. Although quite soft, silky and fine, Castlemilk Moorit fleece is often also very short making it very difficult to spin – not too much of a problem here as I enjoy a challenge!
Timothy has an embroidered wool nose and hand made glass eyes – he really is a handsome chap! He also comes with his cosy Swaledale wool scarf.
Little Timothy is hand made to order.
All of the bears are very keen for you to know that they have glass eyes. Although very beautiful and hand made, these eyes can be dangerous for babies and small children. Also being hand knitted in pure wool, the bears really don’t like to be washed in a washing machine, therefore Timothy is not really suitable for babies and young children.
