Boris a very special hand knitted Boreray wool teddy bear – Sold

Boris is unique and rare! Being hand made from the wool of the Boreray, the rarest of all British sheep.
This breed is now critically endangered so I amlucky to have a little wool with which to make the lovely Boris. He is the natural fawn/light grey colour of the wool and has the cutest expression. Boris has beautiful amber hand made glass eyes, an embroidered nose and a hand dyed pure Shetland wool tartan scarf which compliments his colouring (his scarf my vary in colur).
Boreray wool is characteristically slightly coarse having outer guard hairs but mixed with the inner wool makes Boris a soft huggable bear.
Boris has glass eyes so he is not suitable for babies or children due to these small parts.
