Mittens has just arrived with us, bless him, he has many war wounds to his feet and paws all of which have been very carefully repaired many years ago. His little paws have been lovingly covered so we have not removed his mittens to investigate, they add to his history, we have given him the very fitting name of Mittens instead.
He is in great shape for such an old bear having no further holes at all and is in strong condition. Mittens is a lovely old bear dating to between 1910/20 and measuring just 9 inches. He has a non-working squeaker and his filling has become quite soft giving him a lovely floppy feel. With very carefully embroidered eyes, he lost his original ones years ago, he has the sweetest expression.
Mittens would love a new home where he can either live with other bears or become much loved once again as a single bear.
