Little Oscar is a sweet English teddy bear with a very inquisitive expression and a sense of adventure – he loves climbing trees!
Dating to 1940/50s Oscar is in all original condition and is a gorgeous little bear measuring 15 inches.
He is a five way jointed little bear and all of his joints move well which really helps with his tree climbing! Oscar has a wonderful covering of golden mohair with just slight thinning on his tummy and a couple of small areas on his face but is in very good strong condition. He has excellent eye sight as he has retained his original amber glass eyes. Oscar’s nose and mouth stitching are original to him too.
Oscar has wonderful velveteen paw pads which are his original ones and are all in good order.
Little Oscar is filled with a soft Kapok filling throughout with a little wood wool to his tummy. The filling in his left ankle has settled a little making it slightly floppy, but brave Oscar will tell you that he damaged it on one of his expeditions, to climb the tallest tree in the wood, and injured himself when he came tumbling down (he bounces well so never hurts himself badly)!
Oscar is a really sweet, all original little bear and he comes dressed in his outfit.
