Absolutely adorable Tilly is a little Chad Valley teddy bear dating to between 1940/50 and is in wonderful condition.
She measures 14 inches in height and is a five way jointed little bear, all of her joints move well. Tilly has a gorgeous coverage of golden blonde mohair with no bald or thinning areas at all and is in very good strong condition. She has excellent eye sight as he has retained his original amber eyes.
Tilly’s black stitched nose and mouth stitching are original and typical of the adorable features of a Chad Valley bear. Her paw pads are all covered in their original rexine covering and show very slight signs of surface wear, except for one foot which has some wear along one edge. She retains all of her original claw stitching.
Little Tilly is filled with a soft Kapok filling to his body and limbs, with wood wool to his head.
She is a wonderful, all original little Chad Valley bear.
