Chester has the most wonderful sounding growl when tilted back and forth and to still be working after so many years is quite surprising. Chester is a wonderful old bear dating to 1930 and has the look of a Chiltern bear. He measures an impressive 17 inches in height.
Chester is a five way jointed old bear and all of his joints move well except his arms which have ceased up with old bear rheumatics but this does not worry him much now. He has a very good coverage all over of blonde light golden mohair with only very slight signs of thinning. Chester may well have been carried around by his ears as they would both benefit from a couple of extra stitches to secure them a little more firmly!
He has perfect eye sight as he has retain his original painted glass eyes and his nose and mouth stitching are all original too.
Chester is filled throughout with woodwool and he is in all original condition including his pwa pads and claw stitching. He is a wonderful old bear!
