A simply delightful old bear!
The very special Brunel is a Chiltern teddy bear with the most wonderful expression. He dates to 1930 and he measures 20 inches in height.
He has beige mohair which is soft, clean, shiny and in very good condition. There is some mohair loss in places, around his side seam and notably on his back and a little overall thinning as you would expect from a bear of his age.
Brunel has amber and black glass eyes, black nose stitching and three black stitched claws on each paw pad. His paw pads are linen with one having being a very good linen replacement.
He is a five way jointed bear with all of his joints working well. Being lightly filled with kapok he is a wonderfully soft cuddly bear and has a non working squeaker in his tummy.
This little bear is a sweetie!
