Antique & Vintage Teddy Bears

There is something very magical about old antique teddy bears. For more than a century, teddy bears have been captivating the hearts of children and adults alike. Very often these childhood friends have been passed down from one generation to the next – Grandchildren treasuring the bear that Grandma loved so many years before.

No other toy has ever rivalled the bear’s widespread popularity or social acceptability among adults as well as children. Grown-ups who have “put aside childish things” feel no need to discard their teddies,but keep them into old age.

Sadly, not all teddies are so lucky and some are forgotten in the attic, admired only by mice and moths, sadly abandoned many years ago.

Others are in great shape for their advancing years and although well looked after, have found themselves homeless after losing their original families.

Having a passion for antique and vintage teddy bears too, we have rescued some forgotten childhood friends and brought them to live with us here, in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, until they find new homes and hope they will go on to be treasured by generations to come.
